Copy Rendered Layer

To copy a rendered layer, summarised from here at askubuntu. But this does not preserve the textual nature of the layer (i.e. you can't edit the text afterwards).

1. Hide all layers you don't want to copy (shift-click will 'solo' a layer).
2. Drag from the source tab to the target tab, until the target image is active, and then, with the button still down, drag into the image and release.

Copy Text Layer

As above, but drag the layer from the Layers dockable to the target image.
