music/tracks/ TranceTracks
This list is mainly categorised by the DJ whose CD or PodCast contains it. The DJ kind of determines the style more than trying to label it with a genre. Where the DJ is also a producer, I've listed their tracks under their name (e.g. ArminVanBuuren has played SophieSugar tracks on some of his AStateOfTrance CD's).
Solarstone
SolarStone – Seven Cities SolarCoaster
Tiƫsto
Armin van Buuren
Probably his most influential CD release for me was AStateOfTrance2006, especially CD2, opening with the astounding Arisen by Arksun.
John O'Callaghan
Of his CD mix releases, SubCulture2010 is my favourite. The first track by him that I heard (produced in collaboration with BrianKearney) was Exactly from AStateOfTrance2006
Sean Tyas
His rework of Lick the Rainbow by Mord Fustang (I wish he actually released this, but alas the only place you find it is episode 101 of his TytaniumPodcast). It was in episode 104 of the TytaniumPodcast that I first came across RonnyK (see below), namely Zero Gravity.
His remix of Sanctuary by GarethEmery (feat. Lucy Saunders) is, for me, the highlight of SubCulture2010 (see JohnOCallaghan above).
Sophie Sugar
SophieSugar – Fallen too far and Redemption amongst others. I also like JohnOCallaghan's remix of her Call of Tomorrow, featured on AStateOfTrance2005.
Roger Shah
RogerShah – Darling Harbour. I loved his Another Day on the Terrace intro mix used in ArminVanBuuren's UniversalReligionChapter3. Then there is Coral Sea under his Black Pearl name.
From his mixes: DejanS – Behind the Mountains from MagicIslandVol3
Ronny K
Probably my guiltiest pleasure in the Trance genre is the style of UpliftingTrance that RonnyK produces and plays.
Jonas Steur
Haylon Starfighter (Jonas Steur remix), Estuera(=JonasSteur) Tales of the South
