This wiki contains notes on the text editors I commonly use. (My main editors have their own subwikis.)

• Vim is my goto on Linux
• VS Code together with Vim is my goto on Windows
• AtomEditor is an occasional alternative to VS Code, but has been put out to pasture due to Microsoft owning Atom via GitHub
• NotepadPlusPlus is quick and featureful
• WindowsNotepad is something I use a lot when all I want is to edit a couple of lines of text and anything else is overkill.
• CatCommand is a very oldschool method of writing files
